Preparing to Install:

Buy an old version of Windows 8.

  • Go to the CD drive on your computer and make your selection. In this case, it should be designated as “CD/Disk Drive” (or something similar). Then, select the appropriate choice by using the arrow keys once more.
  • Save and Exit.

Installing Windows 8:

  • Choose a keyboard layout, time zone, and language. Then, if you see erroneous information (for example, the wrong time or area), choose the correct information from the drop-down menu by clicking the item’s drop-down box.
  • To proceed, click the Next button. It may be found in the lower-right corner of the window.
  • Now click on Install to begin the installation process. This option may be found in the center of the window.
  • Enter your Windows 8 product key.

  • Then click Next once you’ve clicked Apply.

Wait for Windows 8 to install fully. Several times throughout the installation, your computer will restart. The login screen should appear after Windows 8 has finished installing.
